Artis pop pemenang Grammy ini mengumumkan kabar tersebut di SoFi Stadium di Los Angeles pada Rabu, saat kunjungan terakhir dalam tur Amerika Serikat dari Tur Eras-nya. 

Album ini akan dirilis pada tanggal 27 Oktober 2023, tepat sembilan tahun setelah album asli 1989. 

Album ini dapat dipesan sekarang dan akan berisi 21 lagu.

Taylor Swift naik panggung dan berterima kasih kepada audiensnya atas dukungannya dalam proses merekam ulang lagu-lagu miliknya.
