Good morning the honorable principal, vice principal, fellow colleagues, friends, students, and most importantly my 12th grade students. It is such an honorable opportunity for me to welcome you all to this important ceremony. We are all here to bid farewell to our sons and daughters, our 12th students who are leaving the school after completing their studies in Montgomery School. Once again, I welcome you all to this ceremony.

Dear 12th grade students,

You have just unlocked a new gate to the next stage in life. The memory of you all coming to this school for the first time is clearly drawn on my mind. This school is a witness of your growth day by day, now those small steps are ready to jump into the further stage in life. During your school day you receive uncountable pressure in school, let us say, that hard assignments, sadness, and several burdening examinations are attacking you every day.

Those hard times and grief have paid off today since you have come to the end of your journey in High School. Most essentially, you have attained this stage with great achievement and beautiful memories. As someone who directly watches your growing state, we, as the teachers are very proud of you all. You need to know that being tough to you does not mean that we hate you. We tried to make you ready and nurture you to have a strong foundation when facing real-life challenges in the future.

Today I am going to represent the whole teachers to say that we are honored to have students like you. You have recorded many achievements over the years, whether it is academic or extracurricular activities. Your outstanding accomplishments in academic courses or sports activities are acknowledged and we will remember it all.

I and my fellow teachers are grateful for the never-ending spirit you have demonstrated towards the learning process, the teachers, the school’s management, and even your fellow students. I hope that this farewell ceremony does not cut off the hostility rope between us, we are still family though.

My dear 12th grade students,

Life challenges are waiting for you as you walk out of this school but I do believe that the manner and skill that you have obtained for years in school will help you to conquer the obstacles well.

At this very moment, I want to encourage the outgoing students to be good ambassadors in society and never let their selfish interests ruin your glorious path. Be humble to the people that you meet on your way up, and be a positive person not only for yourself but also for the people who live around you.

Quoting the United States First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, ‘The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams’. This means that a bright future is prepared for those who believe in themselves and their dreams. The most important part is to be optimistic in whatever you are doing.
