TRIBUNJOGJA.COM - Rapper Rich Brian orang Indonesia yang sukses berkarier di Amerika, meluncurkan album barunya yaitu The Sailor, pada Jumat (26/7/2019).

Di album terbarunya ada 12 lagu yang bisa didengarkan di streaming musik dan Youtube.

Dikutip dari tribunnews.com,dalam lagunya rapper 19 tahun ini menceritakan kisah dirinya yang beranjak dewasa.

“The Sailor merupakan sebuah simbol dari menjadi penjelajah” tutur Brian dalam keterangan pers yang diterima Tribunnews, Jumat (26/7/2019).

“Menjelajahi sebuah wilayah yang asing dan melalui kehidupan dan rasa penasaran, Ini juga tentang kisah saya dan juga cerita para imigran yang berani untuk keluar ke dunia yang baru untuk mencari sebuah kesempatan membuat hidupnya lebih baik,” kata rapper dengan nama lain Rich Chigga ini.

Rekaman The Sailor menghabiskan waktu sekira setahun, dan mengambil latar tiga kota. Yakni Jakarta, New York, dan Los Angeles.

The Sailor diproduseri langsung oleh oleh Brian, Bekon & The Donuts, dan penemu 88rising Sean Miyashiro.

Salah satu lagunya yang trending di Youtube adalah "Slow Down Turbo". "Slow Down Turbo" adalah video yang mengambil latar belakang di Jakarta.

Yang menarik adalah video tersebut hanya memngambil beberapa adegan dan diputar ulang. Seperti becak dan kopaja pada bagian awal video.
