Road Maintenance at Jalan Bantul Kilometer 5

TRIBUNJOGJA.COM,  YOGYA - Passing by Jalan Bantul Kilometer 5, Saturday (30/08/14) motorcyclists and other vehichles were expected to take extra careful. They must drive slowly when reached Jalan Bantul kilometer 5 due to road maintenance project that caused the road function to be limited into half than normal condition.

At the leftside of the road there was shallow hole on the already taken out asphalt layer. The hole was seen to be less than 1 meter wide. The hole ended just before reached Pasar Niten. There was blockage sign surrounded the project which took almost half of the road. Therefore cars needed to pass in turn to avoid further traffic jam. This also applied to motorcyclists for better flow of traffic.

The road maintenance project was seen to be far from finished. Even so, there was no activity seen nor policemen to direct the traffic this afternoon. (TRIBUNJOGJA.COM)
