TRIBUNJOGJA.COM, YOGYA - Friday 29/8/2014, ngasem market which is located in the taman sari is a traditional market that selling different kinds of vegetables, clothing, kitchen needs and also selling many kinds of traditional food in it. Since the existence of FKY (Yogyakarta Culture festival) which opened on 20 August 2014 makes the market look more crowded.

According to one of the traditional market sellers who selling traditional food in the markets almost every day out in the rush by the visitors of FKY as well as visitors of ngasem market itself. Although the festival is not so crowded visitors during the day, but there are also a lot of tourist and local residents came to the area, though only for a take a photo in the area.

Formerly Ngasem market known as a market that sells various types of birds, but for various reasons, buying and selling activities these birds moved to the area Dongkelan or often called Fauna and Ornamental Plants Market Yogyakarta (PASTY). Although that does not mean that after move the market looks quiet. The contrary because often used for many events then it looks very crowded market, such as event FKY 26 in this year.
